Going in Circles...
I started a Christmas basket this morning.. Had a rough time getting it started, but am now on my way...
Kota tried to help by batting at the rolls for a while. When I stopped him, he gave up and took a nap. I am sure that I won't get through the whole basket without his help...
It was falling apart. Not an antique. Made in the 60s or 70s. I decided to make it into a planter. It may not last for years, but I decided to enjoy it while it does last.
It's hard to see. I planted succulents in the top and with any luck, some of them will spill overt the edge.
It's just too nice to stay inside. Mid 70s and counting.
The birdhouse is still going strong. I don't expect any birds to live in it. It is too low and too easy for predators to get into.
I have only lost the dill plants that I had in here. I replaced them with a couple of the Mother of Millions today. It was just too cold in there for the dill.
I also hung a birdhouse on the trellis behind the tub. I am going to take it back down and add some details to it. Too plain and boring. I see shingles and paint in my future.
I had and ECG earlier this morning. Yup. The heart is still beating. This is the third one. Easiest test of all... I just lay there and enjoy counting holes in the ceiling tile. It had to be done. They are talking about operating for the cancer the first part of next month.
I am still thinking that I won't miss too much of the blog. If I do, I will talk Walter into taking over for a few days. He was a journalism major in college and is capable of doing so. If he doesn't want to write anything, I can always dictate to him... I really don't want to break the streak. In February, it will be eight years of writing every day!
Back to basket weaving.
See you tomorrow.
