It got down to the high thirties last night. I realize that is not much for most of you, but for me, that's cold!!!
I got as far as the door of the workroom...That is the coldest room in the house! It s somewhere between 50 and 60 in there right now.... I backed out quickly and slammed the door... No room cleaning today!
I have been eyeing the trunk of the mesquite tree in the front yard. It's hard to see, but it seems to be shedding bark in big pieces... Possibility for covering for a fairy cottage or something?
Again... Too cold to go out and mess with it. Come on summer!!!
So... I am going back to where I have spent the past few days. Kota and I share the zebra skin blanket while I stitch and he snores. Yes, He really does!
If the temperature ever goes up, I will get back to the real work. I probably will take it easy for a few more days anyway.
I can just dream of things to come until it is actually warm in the workroom.
Back to stitching. See you tomorrow!
Don't forget to poke the photos to enlarge!

A Slight Pause...
OK... I am not supposed to have a cold... but I do...
Walter has had one for a while. We tried to not get too close, but it didn't work.
So. I am taking the day off from cleaning in the workroom. Cold is not good for a cold...
I did finish the sign for the door. I don't think that it is going to help keep the room clean, but it looks nice.
I am going to spend the day under a blanket and cleaning out a couple of drawers of cross stitch fabric.
Then I am going to do some stitching. I can do that whilst keeping warm.
At least I can glance over and make plans for Daisy's cottage while I am working in the bedroom... Under the covers. With a big box of Kleenex.
My main concern is getting rid of the cold. Wish me luck.
Back to the covers.
See you tomorrow.
