This is going to be another short one. We are getting ready to go to lunch with Seth, April and Amare.
We have wedding anniversaries that are five days apart and didn't get to celebrate them earlier in the month when we were supposed to...
So... I will show you what I did, in the little time that I had this morning. I found the above bracelets. I finished the bottom one and want to finish the cuff at the top of the photo... I am determined...
Meanwhile, I made the mistake of letting Tessie come back in the room. She found this bead tray. It is alllll 14 and 15 seed beads.
She is now yammering about more purses. "The beads are all out and ready to go!"
My response was to run the other way as quickly as I could. I have the feeling that she is going to be sitting in the same place when I go back in there.
The next step is the dreaded drawers... I am thinking of taking the paper off of the front of them... Some of it is coming loose and it doesn't look very good anymore.
When we get back from lunch... I will dive right in... Unless I find some more beading that looks more appealing than sorting...
Wish me luck. Someday soon, I will have a clean workroom! I will!
See you tomorrow.
Don't forget to poke the photos to enlarge!

Another Year Has Passed!
And Tessie is still as cantankerous as ever! Even though she was not here everyday for all eight years, she thinks she was.
Once in a while she whispers in my ear, "Don't you think this should be titled "Tessie and Casey's Minis?".
It will not be happening any time soon, but she can dream on...
I almost have another flower finished on the bag.
If you want to go back and see how this all started, just push the magic button>>>
http://caseymini.blogspot.com/2008/02/here-i-go-again.html That should keep you busy for a while. You have to press newer posts at the end of each page to keep going.
I am going out to work in the garden for a while and then back to the radiation table. For those of you that missed it, I am now cancer free! The radiation and Herceptin treatments are merely preventative now. The radiation is Monday Through Friday until sometime in March... The Herceptin is once every three weeks until sometime in June. Then I am free!!!
I have to get back at it. I have plants to pot and seeds to scatter.
See you tomorrow.

At Least Let Me Get Them In Place!
Before I even started to put the shelves in place to see what they looked like, Daisy was reaching for the box of chocolates on the second shelf... Sweet tooth, much?
To give her the benefit of a doubt, maybe she was reaching for the bunny that invaded... He was a few days late...
Trial Run... I took the photo with the largest of Amare's masterpieces. I am still not sure which one I am going to use. This one was the easiest to see...
You will notice that Daisy is like I am... Books stacked every which way and crammed in to make them fit.
Here's the one by the window seat. I like this one because it has all of the amenities. Drink. Chocolates. A pet. And last but never least LOTS of books.
I will probably have to crochet a new afghan. I am not a fan of pink. I am still wondering why I chose to make a pink one. It took hours and I have never had a room that it goes well in.
As for the tuffet, It will be replaced by an new one that looks better with the daybed and rug. It's a little too country for my taste. It's one that I had left over from the last mini show I did.
Walter and I went out to breakfast this morning. Today is our 43rd anniversary! Now I am going to celebrate by not doing any more minis today!
See you tomorrow.

A Day Off for Good Behavior!
It has been seven years and two days since I began this blog.
I actually forgot my own anniversary! It was Monday...
Senility is setting in... I hope not!
Anyway, after writing an entry every single day for that time, I am taking the day off to play. It's Wednesday and the witches await.
From the whole gang. Thanks for putting up with us for the last seven years. We probably wouldn't keep doing the silly things we do, without all of you! I hope to make it another seven!
See you tomorrow.

Ruffles and Flourishes...
Two out of three are done. The one over my desk is longer than I thought. I had just enough to do that and the one over the worktable.
I am thinking of doing the third one, over the daybed in a different style, but the same material. We shall see.
As usual, Tessie jumped in to pose with the new curtain and make a few remarks about how she would love a craft cottage, all her own...
If you look closely, my favorite woodpecker has landed on top of the new ruffle... Tessie is trying to coax him down....Seriously? Do you really think that a pizza and bug beer is a healthy diet for anyone, let alone a woodpecker...Yes...We do call him Woody. Sorry. Can't resist a good name.
Zar is hinting that HE would love a finished workshop to build Steampunk paraphernalia... I get the hint....I'm just not paying any attention to it.
Each of the two windows have a ledge sticking out about a half inch. It is an extention of the ceiling piece for the bay windows. It made a handy valance on which to fasten the curtain. I simply cut them to length and ran a bead of glue around the edge. I stuck the gathering part to that. Done...
I intend to put some other stuff on both of the shelves, I just stuck the things that you see up there to see how they would look.
I have added a wood and board supply, along with some "real" sized wood for finishing room boxes, etc..
I made Zar move so that you could get a better view of the area.
The tiny manicure kit on the desk and the reed basket to the right of the desk are pieces that my friend Jo made for me.
There is practically enough stuff in the basket to finish a dollhouse in that size! Really neat stuff.
I have all of the essentials. a carton of pepsi and a few tools are all I need to get to work.
Speaking of getting to work....I am not going to. It is our wedding anniversary today so we are going out to have fun instead.
See you tomorrow.

Happy Anniversary to the Blog!

Time flies when you are having fun! This past year has gone whizzing by.
I have made lots of great new friends by writing this blog. I have decided to celebrate. I can't send everyone gifts, so I have decided to do one of those infernal drawings that everyone but the winner dislikes.
I went to the basket maker's shop this morning and stole the chair that he was working on. You may ask why in the world would I give an unfinished chair as a prize? It's simple. The person that wins it gets to pick out the fabric for the cushions. That way it will match the room where you want to display it.
We have to have some rules for the drawing. First of all, please don't try to enter by leaving a comment! Instead, go to E-Mail Me, on the left, poke that and write to me there. All that you have to do to be entered into the drawing is put the title of my very first entry in the subject line of the E mail...... I will give you a couple of clues. It's in the archives and is today's date a year ago. Also, remember that the earliest entries are at the bottom of the page. How hard can that be? One entry per person!!!!!!!
I will give you until midnight on the 26th to send me an E mail. Then I will have an impartial participant(my husband) draw a name from all of the entries. I will contact that person to get their snail mail addy and to let them choose the fabric for the chair.
Let the game begin! I will see you all tomorrow.
