So did Spike. His table manners aren't too good though.
As you can see, all of the pieces are woven and ready for upholstering.
I will wait until the winner's name is drawn to do that. That way the fabric will go with the taste of the new owner.

Hi Casey, I don't have a blog but I've read your blog daily for at least the last 4 years and just recently learned how to follow it without having a blog (I'm slow I know). sorry I don't find in my profile the time I joined in, but I think it's been a couple of years now. I love how Tessie has torn the wall between the miniature world and ours. My dolls have all kinds of demands and wishes too, but they are not at all so much present in this world. Your blog is wonderful and inspiring and makes me sometimes wonder if you have more hours in your day... It's a good thing to wonder as it sometimes leads to action instead of consideration (well, procrastination really).

Hi Casey! I have been unofficially following you for about a year and a half now. (Not being super computer-smart, I didn't know that there was a way to follow you officially until last week!)
In Feb of 2011 I quit smoking. At first I just replaced smoking with eating. After just a week or so, I realized that I needed to do something more constructive. I bought a dollhouse kit for my daughter and for many months every time I wanted a cigarette I went to work on the dollhouse instead. Right away I found your blog and have checked it faithfully every day. That first dollhouse turned out great, and your posts gave me the inspiration to attempt a much larger house the second time around!
So now I'm still smoke free but addicted to minis instead!

I cannot say with absolute certainty who is ultimately responsible for my "discovering" your blog, but I can narrow it down to two...The Mini Food Blog, or Creating Dollhouse Miniatures. Either way, ever since I have been hooked, much like one is "addicted" to their first cup of morning coffee. When I flip on the computer, I go directly to my Favorites and scroll down to "Casey's," and like an on-going soap opera, I just have to know what you, Tessie, Zar and Nellie are up to. I'm never disappointed. I always go away with a smile on my face, something else to add to my "To-Do" list, or just left hanging until tomorrow! LOL Thank you for all of your energy, enthusiasm and "inspiration."
