Dry Fitting

I finished cutting all of the parts for the bookcase that I am going to put inside the little corner display.

I have everything done so that the Witches can start building at my house next Wednesday.  This Wednesday I will give them the kits and tell them to sand their little heads off! I only rough cut the lumber.
As you can see, it is a 6" tall by 1 1/2" wide, open shelf unit.

They can fancy them up with whatever they want to do. Or they can just leave them plain.

I will put this one together tomorrow morning, so that they can see what they are going to be doing.
Tessie wandered in whilst I was looking for feets for the shelves.

She found enough of my favorite feets(that's what she calls them) for everybody to have four.

Her explanation?  "Well. They look like cupcakes, but they make nice feets. All you have to do is stain them and stick them on.

She's right.  They are the little covers that people put over screws on fake Early American furniture. I use the smallest ones as feet for all kinds of things.

Wish me luck on getting one put together before 12:30PM tomorrow.  That's when I leave for the Witchy meeting. Maybe I will stain the wood tonight.  That will give me a head start.

See you tomorrow.

Hello Casey,
The bookcase is looking lovely. I know you'll get it all done in time. I must agree with Tessie, cupcake feet are great!
Big hug
