Inch By Inch

I am using the new yarn bowl!  It works well.

The yarn is threaded through the little cut out part and when you pull on it, the bowl acts as a third hand.  It holds the ball of yarn and lets you pull out as much as you need.
April and I spent the morning at Grandma's Spinning Wheel.  It's a yarn shop here in town that sells all kinds of neat yarns and they even teach spinning and weaving, if you are so inclined.

Of course, Tessie liked the sock yarn with sparkly bits in it.  She insisted that it matched her apron and I had to explain that I couldn't possibly make socks small enough for her out of such big yarn...
Kota liked the fuzzy stuff and I am going to have to hide it, so that he won't eat it or knead it.

It is much too tempting for cats.

Anyway, I have one inch of one sock knitted already and am going back to work on it some more.  If I can get it away from Tessie and Kota.

This could end in a disastrous tug of war!

No minis today. I am having too much fun with my new bowl.

See you tomorrow.

I once made the mistake of leaving a ball of yarn on the table while I went out. I have cats.

When I returned it looked as if the living room had been exploding yarn. It was amazing.
