A Good Day for Bead Soup...

No.  You don't eat it.  You play with it.

I learned about "Bead Soup" on You Tube.  Several beading people on there swear by it got get yourself started on new projects.

This is what I had on hand. I just threw it all in a theater tray and dragged it to the bedroom.
This is one of two double twist stretch bracelets that I came up with.  Not terrible.  Just OK.
The first one that I made was just by "eye".  It wound up being too small for me. Maybe Amare could wear it, but it's not really a boys' bracelet.

Back to the drawing board.
I was pretty happy with the two purse tassels that I came up with.  Unfortunately, so was Tessie,

Luckily, she doesn't have a purse large enough to attach them to, so I am probably safe with those.

Did I mention that I am trying to get started on Christmas Presents.  I am way late this year...

I am going to have to skip sock making this year. I need to think of something not so time consuming.  Thus the beads.

Wish me luck.  I am going to need it.

See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey. For quick projects that look great, check out the massive list on Pinterest
of arm knitting with no needles or knitting with large needles and bulky yarn. Some projects can be done in as little as an hour. Also, there are projects made with T shirts, fabric strips and plastic bags.

Only one problem, Phyllisa. I hate knitting with my arms AND big needles. That's why most of my knitting is socks. I don't even need a pattern for those and they are portable.
