Making Great Progress...

I talked Kota into helping Walter with the papers for the taxes yesterday afternoon...

He is very pleased.  Once Walter got all of the papers out of the drawer to sort... Kota took the drawer over for a new bed... There is one right next to it, just like it... He wants both...Perfect Kota sized roll away beds!

Walter is now looking for a new place to put the papers that he was storing in there... Kota wins again!
At least, whilst Kota was helping Walter, I got some more stitching done on the rug.  Hard to see, but it is progressing nicely.
And Tessie?  I put her to work on cleaning the floors in the basket shop. This could take a while.  She is trying to talk Spike Jr. into doing the floors... It will never work...

In order to get him to clean anything, you have to spill food on it and his version of cleaning is licking up the mess if it is to his liking...

I don't think that broom straw is on his list of good things to clean up.  I am going to have to go back in there with a whip and a chair and threaten Tessie... No... It won't work.  And Yes, I will have to do it myself.  At least it will get done.

I am thinking of trying to go to Walmart tomorrow morning... I think that I deserve a trip to Wally World.  I have stayed away from there since last Monday... That's some kind of record.  They said I could drive 24 hours after the operation.  I am feeling great.  I need an outing.  All by myself.  Just like a grown up.

Back to stitching.  See you tomorrow after Wally World.

I'm so glad you're coming along well Casey but be sure to not overdue things. Rest is a good thing - and Kota can keep your feet warm too! - Marilyn D., Oromocto, NB, Canada

Hi Casey. I'm glad to hear your recovery is going well and that your "helpers" are
being helpful.
