More About the Birdhouse!

Since the birdhouse still had its original tag on it, I took it upon myself to look it up on our friend, the net.

I found it... The company of origin was selling it for 168.00!  It is currently being sold on Wayfair.com for 119.00!! 

My price was... Get ready for this.... $20.00!!!

Not bad.  I thought it was a bit expensive for Goodwill, even for a new item.  I was wrong!

The birds had better like this or I am taking it back for a dollhouse!

On other fronts. I went in for a Herceptin infusion this morning... If I sound a bit loopy, it's because they give you some Benadryl and a couple of Tylenol with it... It sometimes puts me to sleep... Today is one of those days.

I am not doing minis today, because I would probably have to take everything apart and do it again tomorrow. The other option would be to have a couple of fingers sewn back onto my hand.

I did some planting for the back porch this week.  I am going for red flowers. My excuse is, I am getting ready for Christmas.  The geraniums will still be blooming by that time.  Maybe even more than now...

I did find a mini of sorts this morning.  I bought a dozen mini blueberry muffins at Walmart a few days ago. 

I was looking at the box for flat plastic and discovered that, under the label on top there are two perfect plastic flower pots or whatever else you want to make from them.  They are #7 plastic.  I know that #6 can be used like shrink plastic... I am wondering what #7 would do.  Maybe it's worth a shot. But in a pinch, I can see them being trimmed and painted to be used the size that they already are.  I will let you know what happens.
