Somebody Stop Me!!!

It all started with the bathroom changes.  When I cleaned out the bathtub.  The things that I had stored in there were odds and ends.  This basket that my mother bought in the Ozarks back in the 1950s was one of the items.  I just carried it into the workroom, planning to see what was in there later...

It is now later... Oops...
I found yarn that I didn't know that I still had.  There was one finished sock, several unfinished socks and one close to being completed stocking cap... As I remember, I didn't finish it because I discovered that April didn't like stocking caps that had to be rolled up.  Oh well.  Anyway, after looking through that stuff, I may have a chance at finishing some socks for Christmas after all...Maybe...

Then I started the next bookcase shelf and found this!  Yes.  More yarn and a couple of half finished socks here too... Do you see a pattern?
The only good thing about cleaning today was finding this!  It is a tool roll that I made years ago.  I haven't been able to locate some of my tools for a while now... Now I have.  These have been missing for a couple of years.  They were at the bottom of the above yarn basket...
I know.  I am not creative... I am MESSY!  I admit it.

Now I am going back into the abyss to see what else I can unearth.  Did I mention that I found this?  It was behind the basket.  I have been wondering where it went.  I think that I will switch gears for a while and find a place to hang it.  I may just have to switch back to some Egyptian tapestry window toppers that I made years ago... Just so this will match something else in whatever room I choose.

Back to the digging.(Yes.  I promise to work on the cottage some more.)  See you tomorrow.

Hey Casey. Your yarn piles look quite similar to mine!I hope to finish a few of my
projects too. It's hard to know what certain people will like. But this year I am
okay with donating to the needy what my non-needy family rejects. So it is still
worth finishing my projects.

That's a beautiful basket and it was full of surprises! I love the tapestry! You must be glad to have found your lost tools!
