Squirrels, Pinterest and Tessie....

I had to do a quick run for a blood test this morning.  When we left, Tessie was still wandering around and rearranging everything in the bathroom...
When  we arrived home... I discovered that she had been wandering around in Pinterest land...

Big mistake. I left the iPad on the bed... Never a good idea, with her around.
I ran onto a bargain at Walmart this morning.  I got a whole box of glass beads on clearance for five bucks.

I sorted them before I left.  Tessie found them. This is never a good thing.  It seems that she thinks that anything under a quarter of an inch is eligible for her jewelry collection...  There are a lot of small beads in this assortment. When I say small, I mean about the size of her fist...

She has been following me around making suggestions for what I can make for her... I am trying hard to ignore her.  It's not working well...

I finally came in the computer room and closed the door... And locked it.

I am now sitting here watching a squirrel relax and eat lunch...

I need to take lessons from this guy.  He is laying next to the porch with his elbow on the porch, munching on a piece of apple...

Now... If I could just get to the apples without running into Tessie, I could try it...

Unfortunately, she is right outside the door and banging on it loudly... Still making suggestions for jewelry that she NEEDS!  I may just have to go make her a necklace or two, just to shut her up.

Wish me luck.

See you tomorrow.

Tessie certainly is a handful, but I am glad she is filling the shelf in the bathroom. I like the yellow, it makes it stand out just enough to get noticed but not so much that it looks out of place. Great deal on the beads too, I will have to see if my local Walmart has them next time I am in there.

I love it when you make jewelry for Tessie! She sure keeps you busy. Hope you were able to get that apple, Casey! I have been eating cherries, lately. I don't eat dessert very often. I read that cherries are the candy of fruit. After I have eaten five or six cherries, I find that I am satiated and ready for my cup of tea.

Hello Casey,
Did you ever think of getting a pair of industrial ear phones...the kind construction men who dynamite building zones wear!
Big hug,
Giac

Oh, the perils of being a doll person who beads! Mine bug me for new things all the time, and their latest obsession is beaded bags: http://sarahplaysdolls.blogspot.com/2015/05/check-out-my-rack.html You might not want to let Tessie see that post, by the way. ;)

(Also, Giac has the right idea about ear phones.)

Fingers and toes crossed for your blood test! How are you feeling, by the way? Been thinking about ya.

Sarah, not only does Tessie have hers, she also goes after the Spirit bags that I make for myself! I put "beaded bags" in my search and here's what I found http://caseymini.blogspot.com/search?q=Beaded+bags. How do you get the URL to go blue?

Wow, you make some really beautiful beadwork! I had a lot of fun going through those posts.

I wish I knew how to make the URL go blue. Sometimes it works for me, and sometimes it doesn't.
