Someday.....

Someday, I will have a clean workshop... I can dream, can't I?

Last night and this morning, I worked more on the North African rug.  I wanted to see what the "Grapes" border was going to look like.  Hey!  I don't name them. I just stitch them.

That's what this border is called in the book.  I like it.  I just don't really see any grapes.
This morning, I did some more mopping up in the workroom.  I took everything down from the wall between the two bookcases, facing the desk.  I was really tired of looking at unused hanks of seed beads and other miscellaneous items.

I had forgotten that these were there.  A few years back, I got carried away making knitted, beaded spirit bags.  I gave a couple away and these were left...I wore them a few times and the fascination kind of went away... So I hung them up with the beads, just to look at.

The piece in the middle is one I made of suede.  The mother of pearl piece that I beaded to the front of it is from a broach that my Grandma Daisy had.

It was broken when I got it.  Rather than try to put a new pin on the back, I decided that it went well on the pouch.  I have never used it, but it was fun to do... I am sitting here looking at the photo and thinking that it is about the right size to use for a case for my Canon elf.(camera).  I will have to go see if it fits, when I finish here.

Here's the corner I finished today.  Please don't count the black chest to the right... It is my bead and wood storage.  I am leaving that until last.  That and the closet are the hardest to get through, without stopping and playing with things.  That's where the fun stuff is hiding.

That messy looking shelf in the corner is full of boxes and bags of yarn.  It's hard to make that look neat.  I have given up.  The best I can do is make it tidy.... Kind of.
This is the view from my desk at the present time..... Very boring!  I have to think of something to put there.  This will not do for more than a couple of days.  I need stuff that will get me thinking about what to do next...Not what I have already done.

At least, with the beads there, I had something to look at and feel guilty about having not done anything with what was left.

Now it is mostly blank wall.... Blank walls are bad.

I would like to have the craft cottage a bit higher than it is right now.  That would get me thinking.

The stupid mesquite branch with a few bags, puts me to sleep.

I am going back now and conquer that wall... It is annoying me!

See you tomorrow.
