Ups and Downs...With the Push of a Button...

Yesterday there was not much mini-ing done here.  April and Amare came over and we had a treasure hunt.

A few years ago, I had a lot of the glass pebbles that people use in flower pots and didn't know what to do with them .. Not wanting to throw them out, I scattered them around the back yard.  Yesterday, Amare found one....That was the start of the whole thing.  I think he found about forty of them before he lost interest.  I have a feeling that he is going to want to do it every time he comes over.  I will have to go scatter more treasure around before Saturday, when he is coming again.

After they left, I started this basket for my friend Judy, that keeps giving me the magazines to do them. Not fancy, but maybe she can use it for something.

When I got up this morning, I heard chattering coming from Daisy's cottage.

It seems that we had a visitor overnight.

Daisy zapped in and left a few things and zapped back out without a word.... But she did leave a note.

It read....

Dear Ones,

I just came to check on the cottage.  It needs a LOT more work before I can comfortably move in... Get on it!       Periodically I will pop in and leave a few things that I think that the cottage needs.    I read the other day where you said that you didn't know where you were going to fit a staircase in....   I solved your problem.    By the front door, you will see a Bill Ellis table.  On it there are four cuffs and one collar for Spike.      These only work within the confines of the house, so don't let Tessie wear it elsewhere.  She is sure to lose it.  I don't want to have to make more.       I am sure that Zar will appreciate the technology involved.  They are simple transporters, or as Tessie would call them, zappers.      Knowing that her power runs down after a couple of zaps, I am sure that she can use this whilst working on the cottage.    I wish the table and transporter cuffs to stay by the front door at all times and the cuffs returned there on the way out.    Spike can keep his collar on.  It just won't work elsewhere.  His buttons are right and left.  Right for up and left for down.  The other cuffs are front button up and back button down.  Thank you all for your hard work.   Love, Daisy Eulalia.

I think that Daisy has solved all of the problems of the dollhouse world with one little cuff.  They should come with every small house, that doesn't have stairs!

However, I think that they should be the last thing to be installed.

Tessie, Zar and even Spike have been zapping up and down for the past three hours....Now I see the purpose of Tessie's limited zapping time.  I am the one that needs a rest!

See you tomorrow.

Get a patent on those cuffs! They could even come in handy in the big people world (I sprained my ankle last year, the spiral staircase was no fun).

So, did you zap yourself away for a nap, Casey? No, I don't think you take naps. How could you anyways with the terrible three around all the time! Nice of Daisy to have left a collar for our Spike! They must have had a ball zapping up and down. A demain!

Casey, I just remembered that I forgot to mention how sweet is your little grandson. It's amazing how fast he's growing. The two of you must have such fun together. I miss that so much with my granddaughters. They're all grown up. One is married and the other two are in university and I hardly ever see them anymore. Enjoy your time with him because before you know it, he will be all grown up. Time just goes too quickly!
