Turning off the computer and locking the door of the room that it is in...
I went to "Design and Adorn Beading Studio" for a few supplies.
I needed wire and found some really pretty turquoise beads besides.
When I returned, I heard clicking noises coming from the computer room... I knew I was in trouble...
As I walked into the room, I heard a click and a sigh of relief... Coming from Tessie.
She was perched on the keyboard and that was perched precariously on the edge of the desk.
Fortunately for me, she was having difficulty getting out of the Amazon website.
The final clicking noise was the infamous Amazon, ONE CLICK ORDER BUTTON!
She turned around and smiled at me in a self satisfied manor...
Then she said in the sweet syrupy voice that she uses to try to get around me..."Look what I just ordered for US!"
Who is she trying to kid? She spent about half of my Christmas gift certificates. Without permission.
Then she continued with, "I haven't decided what I want the old cottage to be, so I decided to order a new one to keep you going until I do. This way, you will have something to work on in the meantime."
With that, she zapped herself out of the computer room to who knows where...
I am not going to go looking for her. Hey...It's a cute cottage. I was looking at it a few days ago...I just didn't know that she was looking over my shoulder.
Anyway, I am not willing to compromise on the color. I think that's why I haven't built this house before now....I really dislike the pink color that they always show. All I can think of it that awful pink stuff that people drink when they get a stomach ache.
I am going back to work now and see what I can do with that floor. I wasted enough time wandering around the bead store and then the 22 Street Antique Mall. Nope. I didn't get anything there...It's probably a good thing I didn't. If I had stayed out much longer, she would probably have ordered at least ten more house kits. If one is good....Ten is better.
See you tomorrow.

Dear ol' Tessie is always thinking of you Casey! I have also looked at that house off and on. It is also probably the pink that puts me off it. I like the house and look forward to seeing what you do with it.
Tessie is always so thoughtful! I like her idea of "something to work on in the meantime", LOL. You must get Tessie to read your blog. I'm so glad she didn't fall off your key board or she might have wanted you to build a hospital. Thanks for such great reading, Mini Hugs, Jean
Jean, I keep Tessie away from the blog. She gets into enough trouble all on her own.
I love those turquoise beads and the little cottage is so sweet. I can't remember what it's called but I have seen it all made up in different ways over the years here and there. I look forward to what you will be doing with it.
