And Tessie wonders why she doesn't sell more cupcakes... The sign reads "Cupcakes, by appointment only". No telephone number or e mail address...
I think she secretly likes it that way.
Of course, another reason could be the little garden of death's head mushrooms with a gnome on a snail guarding it...
Zar knows how to get a hold of Tessie without phone or e mail. She is usually in the immediate area and he can just stick out a foot and trip her if he wants to talk....Or eat cupcakes...
This morning he got serious about it. He likes his cupcakes and doesn't like the inconvenience of making an appointment to get them.
He insisted, "People are going to make their own cupcakes and cut out the middle witch if you don't open the store for regular hours...
She just frowned at him and stuck out her tongue saying, "This is MY business. I will run it as I see fit. It's for my convenience, not the convenience of people.".
So much for the serious talk. Zar stopped talking and started stuffing in the cupcakes while he could.
I got the tea shop sorted this morning. And until I took the photos, I didn't notice how the paper edging on the shelves had yellowed.
I am going to have to change that to real lace. That doesn't yellow. This stuff I used is for scrap booking. I wonder how it did in scrapbooks? It was pure white when I installed it.
The chair in the corner is where Tessie usually hangs out, when she is in the store. She tilts the chair back and nobody can see her. A bit more to keep customers away...
I discovered that, when she is in the store, she eats lunch in the attic... I didn't clean it out on purpose.
I have decided to leave it as it is. If you poke the photo, you can see what she does up there.
If she can't see me, she thinks I can't see her. This photo was an easy shot. I have footprints for proof. And a nice "seat print"....To the right or the pot of that questionable stew she is brewing. She sits on the edge of the loft and has lunch straight from the pot. The red stuff in the cup is cherry Cool-aid made with extra maraschinos, no blood. It drips all over the place....Another reason I decided not to clean up. She can do that herself!
I doubt that you will be able to reach her for a cupcake appointment any time soon. From the ingredients that she has stashed in the boxes up there, I doubt if you would want any...However....
If you would like to make your own, I put in cupcakes in the search and the second entry down has a how to on making molds and do it yourself cupcakes. http://caseymini.blogspot.com/search?q=cupcakes have fun. If you want to see how the rest of the shop was done, just poke Tessie's Teashop in the labels section.
Meanwhile, I am about to replace some lace.
See you tomorrow.

Hmm, I just bought some of that scrapbook lace today thinking it would be great for minis. Hopefully, this is a different brand and won't yellow on me lol.
