OK. The cat cottage is finished! See. I do finish things once in a while.
Widget stayed in it while I was weaving...
He stayed in it through taking photos, but when I decided to put a new pad in the bottom...He was ticked off and went elsewhere.
The first photo shows the back of the cottage and the picture window/escape hatch.
The second one shows the front door.
I am very pleased how the top turned out. I just tapered it down as I went and when I got to the place where I couldn't weave anymore, I just wrapped the tip top.
As soon as Widget left the premises, the Terrible Two moved in with Spike. They are now claiming that it was a dog house all along.
Widget will be back soon....
I will be around to pick up the pieces after he is through with them...I don't think that they are going to get away with the dog house bit.
Meanwhile, I did do a little work on the rug last night...
I made a mistake. When I started, I forgot to put a leader board at the bottom. Now the weaving is slipping down over the edge. I will be able to fix it when I take it off the loom, but it sure would have been a lot easier if I had put that in to keep it straight on the end.
Hopefully I will finish the rug today or tomorrow. We shall see.
I hear a ruckus coming from the cat cottage....I have to go rescue whomever is getting the worst of the battle for the premises...
See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey! I love the Widget Room and you have done such a great job with it! The fact that the cat hates to leave it even while you are working on it, means that it is Successful to the Max!
Your rug is looking really good and I am waiting to see just how you will eventually use it!
