Door Done....

Nope, the rug isn't done...I don't think that Tessie did a thing to it yesterday.

Zar however leaded the windows in the door so that I could hang it.

I couldn't believe it, but the windows cut into the door by Greenleaf aren't completely straight...I worked around them.

I decided that more diamond panes would be too much, so Zar did straight lines instead.
Back to the outside world.  It is too nice a day to stay indoors.

This is the lavender prickly pear beside our driveway.  Walter keeps having to trim it back, so that we don't run into it.

It must have been a good winter for cacti.  This one is blooming just as much as the Burbank.
Yes.  It really is lavender and the flowers are beautiful.  I think that it has a lot because they only last a day or two.

All of the little leftovers turn into fruit and a lot of people make jelly from them...I am not quite that ambitious...Pass the Knott's Berry Farm Strawberry Jam,  please.
Last, but not least, I was looking for washable markers for Amare this morning at Walmart.  He is going to take after grandma...He sits in the middle of a LARGE sheet of paper and draws all around himself....All abstract so far, but it's a start.

I found these right next to the washable ones....These are for me.  Probably not the best quality, but they look like fun to try... I will let you know how they work....Maybe some sort of new mini application is in order.

See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey! I think that your door turned out very well indeed. I like the variation of the leaded window and the color of the interior of the door. Your carpet that Tessie is 'pretending' to work on, is going to be really nice in the craft cottage.
It is so encouraging to see sunshine in the yards and gardens of different bloggers. We actually had some beautiful weather here in western Canada for 2 DAYS IN A ROW!? WOW! Sunday is supposed to be exceptionally warm and I am soooo happy! I have been wearing winter clothing for far too long now; how about you?

Elizabeth, I seldom wear winter clothes as you do. I don't even own a heavy coat! Mostly sweaters or a light jacket in the winter. I am spoiled.l am not a "winter" person.
