The Blade on the Saw Goes Round and Round....

Yes.  It really does.  I finally found a place for my table saw!  It has only taken about 30 years.  It is a Gollob, with all the bells and whistles....Well, maybe not bells and whistles, but the blade really goes round and round....

Zar is a bit miffed because he has to keep winding it up to get it to cut.  That slows the process a bit.

April and Amare came over this morning...That kind of slowed down the work on the cottage and the cleaning of the workroom.

Amare loves Tuesdays at our house....Garbage day...He loves anything with wheels and garbage trucks are special, because they pick the cans up and dump them inside.

Therefore garbage was much more fun than minis or cleaning...Especially cleaning.

When I looked in on the Terrible Two about ten, they had an assembly line going.  I tiptoed quietly away.  I didn't want to interrupt the flow.

Zar was cutting strips to go around the upstairs widows and Tessie was marking them to be cut to fit.

I am getting a bit nervous....They are working well together and seem to be taking over when I am not around.

After April and Amare left, I sneaked in again and there they were in the corner whispering about plans for either an inside sink or an outside pump in the yard.

It is as if they were planning this for themselves...Don't I get a say on the subject of sink or pump?

It would be nice to have running water to clean up in the cottage.  I am not looking forward to carrying buckets from the house.

I think that they were leaning towards an inside sink.  I am going to let them keep going until I see something that I don't like...

Tessie found some brass faucets and handles that would work if I built a tiny sink cabinet in the corner.

Maybe cleaning out the workroom is a good thing. We keep finding more things to put in the cottage.  Pretty soon, it is going to be overstuffed.

Now all I have to do is get Tessie's formula for shrinking away from her....So far, I am not having a lot of luck.  She keeps saying things like, "I would rather dump it down the toilet than give it to you!" and, "I will trade it to you for an equal share in the cottage." and did I mention, "Over my dead body!".  I answered the last one with, "Don't tempt me!"
Wish me luck....I fear that I am going to need a lot, if I ever want to work in the cottage....

See you tomorrow.

As I was reading your post, the words "and the beat goes on, and the beat goes on" kept playing in my head. Hahha! I think it's because Tessie and Zar never seem to stop. Those two are always making plans and doing things. Keep an eye on them, Casey, no telling what they might do when you close that door!

Hi Casey. I think that was your most
amusing post to date! Loved it!
It does appear that your cottage
has been taken over by the Terrible
Two. I wonder how you can keep them
out of there?

Another wonderful blog entry, but what really caught my attention was that wonderful little footstool near the day bed. Love it.

Hello Casey,
Well at least they do not sit around all day doing nothing. It's great that they take an interest. The saw is beautiful and I think an inside sink is not too much to ask. Good luck!
Big hug,
Giac

Marisa, I am going to leave them right where they are. You are right. As long as they are keeping busy, they stay out of my way.
