All Wickered Out....

OK.  We have the bottoms on the settee, the chair, and the footstool woven.

I just started on the table.  Tessie refuses to help with that one.  She has blisters....I can't see them, but she swears that they are there.

Zar has decided that discretion is the better part of valor and has chained himself to a chair in his study...Before he did that, he put up a hastily lettered sign...It says...And I quote..."Danger! Plague Contamination Area!!!"

Well gee whiz!  I guess I shouldn't drag him out of there for fear of disease...???

Right.

He doesn't know it yet, but when I finish writing I am dragging him out by the scruff of his neck and shoving some string in his hand!

Anyway, I noticed that there were 1005 followers a little while ago.  I am going to have to hurry and finish these pieces. I may as well leave the gate open until I am finished.

I am guesstimating maybe two or three days tops.  Then we will get on with business!

Something interesting....I just did spell check and thought that it was going to reject guesstimating....Hmmmm.  That's really a word?  I thought sure that it would be kicked out. Oh well....  It still insists that wickering is NOT a word.  I'm going to have to work on that one.

See you tomorrow.

Hahaha, plague contamination area - where do you find these brilliant ideas? Can't mention this at home, my sons might get ideas of their own....

I love reading your posts, always something to smile about and lots to learn from!

Casey, I can always count on you to bring a smile to my face with all of the antics you have to deal with on a daily basis. :)

I recently had a mega supply shopping spree and I did buy some cotton covered wire, inspired by you of course. Don't know what I will ever use it for, but, even if it is ten years, I have it now.

I often think of you while I am in the trim section. Thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement and just the sharing of your knowledge. It is much appreciated.

Btw, I use firefox and when I get tired of things showing up as spelled wrong, I just add them to the dictionary. ;)

Poor Tessie wickering with blistery hands! But no wonder as the furniture already looks good. Well done Tessie and Casey too!

Wow! I can't believe how quickly you ca work. I feel so slow and clumsy when I see the great work you do. BTW - thank you for providing the link to where you order your bunka and silk ribbon from - can't buy it around here so now I have a lead! Do you ever order your cloth-covered wire online? Can't get that here either - at least not in the right size or colour for mini-ing. Is that a word?
