Fantastic Plastic...

I am going to have to make this fast. We are leaving shortly to have dinner with Seth and April. I wanted to show you what I did with a couple of the plastic beds from the cards. I cut two of them apart at one end and switched one with the other, so that I would have the same arms on either end. I wanted a French day bed look. I will go into more detail tomorrow. Meanwhile, here is a sneak preview. To the left is the original bed and to the right are the two different configurations of day beds that I am making. I cut a pad for the bottom and designed a back piece to go around and behind. Then I covered two back pieces with fabric. I pleated curtains for the sides with pins. Put it all together and you have a 1/4" scale day bed. Hang in there til tomorrow for further instructions. See you then. If this is all one paragraph, I apologise. I am running short of time. I will fix it when I get back from dinner.

Casey, this is unbelievable! If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would not have believed this possible. A million compliments to you! You're a genius! Did you know that? Well, you are! This is the most endearing little piece of furniture I have ever seen! And, of course, Tessie looks so happy!

They look great! One question. What type of glue do you use with these? I tried my normal plastic glue on a set a while ago, and it was nearly useless.
