For those of you that friended me on facebook today, thank you. I really appreciated it, but I have deactivated the account. I see no reason for me to have it. I do all of the writing that I want to do right here. Facebook is too much like work. I drove myself crazy all day trying to figure it out. When I finally did, I asked myself, "Why am I doing this?" My answer was....."That's a good question."
If anybody wants to contact me....My e mail is right on the blog. If I want to say anything to anybody, I say it on the blog. I welcome comments here anytime.
I am sorry if I am offending anybody. I just think that I will be a happier person without the hassle involved and for me, that is what is important.
I am going to go hide in a corner now and quietly get my happy disposition back in place. BTW, Tessie agrees. She was complaining all the time that I was working on it..."Why aren't you working on my house???" and, "Get away from that computer and get back to work!"
Thank you for listening to me grumble a bit. I hope that you will understand.
There is a two week grace period until it is final....I doubt that I will be signing back on.
See you tomorrow, with my smile back in place.

LOL....Don't worry Casey~ I don't have a facebook account either... Too much Drama for me:) Besides~ We have Blogland.....
;)
I jsut got back home and noticed the "friends request" and discovered ther ewas no acct. :-)
I totally understand. I find that I can barely keep up with all the "electronic communication"..sometimes I just can't bear it and tune out. I'd rather work on my projects....
No problem at all Casey. If there's stuff you feel like you're getting left out of - just holler. There's other ways to share. I keep on it cuz it's a great way to keep on on the goings on of various children and past billet children all in one go. Actually, I was veru surprised to see you even try it! BTW - love Tessies new apron! She looks lovely in blue ;^P
I am so glad that I'm not alone. I probably should have stayed on to explain what was going on, but it probably wouldn't have gone over to well to tell facebook that I didn't really like them to their faces.(no pun intended.)LOL
Thanks for understanding.
Hehe, that was fast :):). It took me 1 year to give up :):):). Blogland really is enough not just to connect but connect closely.
Hi Casey, same here. I had an account on FB for 1 week and it was 6 days more than I could stand. Much better the blog. Minihugs Rosanna
I totally understand and sometimes wish I could delete my facebook too, but I am weak LOL it's very distracting and stops me working, but I'm at home there. Maybe if I had a character like Tessie nagging.... sorry, pointing out the errors of my ways, then I wouldnt spend so much time on the computer either LOL and on that note, I'm off to do some work!
You're not alone. I love blogland and don't have a facebook account. In fact I am quite afraid of facebook, do I seem stupid ? and blogland is perfect for me and seems more interesting than facebook.

I have a fb account but I'm not on a lot. It's mostly a way for me to connect with some family members. Other than having some mini friends there I don't do much with my mini life on fb. I save that for my blog. You're aren't missing out on anything by closing the account. ;)
You're sooooo right. Blogland is enough for me too. I not only deactivated my facebook account, I have completely deleted it as well (it stays there even if it's not active). So I don't worry about all the extra work either. Mini's are enough for me and the friendship in blogland.

Casey - Checking your blog is the highlight of my day! And since I'm not on Facebook, I was worried I'd be missing out on Tessie's escapades. Whew!
Well... here today and gone tomorrow! LOL
You are very right about FB being a time waster. I need to spend less time reading/commenting there and get back to work! I do like to see the new things posted there that often don't show up on the blogs.
Guess I'm hooked? (for now)
Kathi, now you don't have to guess where to look for new things from me....They will always be right here on the blog.LOL
¡Uf! Me alegra saber que trabajaras más para Tessie que para facebook :)
Es verdad que los blogs nos ocupan mucho tiempo, pero vale la pena, es cómo una reunión de amigas contando lo que hacemos. Así que ha trabajar con una sonrisa.
Besos Clara
