I made it from an antique lace rosette dress decoration. I flattened the top and pulled the edges around her waist and put a sash over it. Then I looped lace to cover the seam in back and finished it with a bow there and another at the neck in the front.
It lasted all of ten minutes whilst Zar and Tessie caught up on what had happened while she was away.
She told him about all of the wonderful things that she had seen and he, in turn, told her how nice and quiet it had been here. He offered her a ride on the back of the bike.
She said that she couldn't possibly. It would mess up her dress.....
He grabbed Spike and they did a few laps around the house. Tessie couldn't stand being left out.
She went and changed her clothes and barred the way. She informed the two of them that they were having entirely too much fun without her. Then she said "Wait just a second while I get my new helmet." When she re appeared she had on her new straw hat. It seems that she has reinforced it with a steel liner. Now she is ready for anything!
See you tomorrow.
It's not everybody that has a helmet with lace and roses on top!
Anyway, they are off once again.....I overheard them talking about a bike trip to Scottsdale in the near future. It seems to me that it would be easier for Tessie to zap them to Scottsdale. No. I am not going to suggest it. By the time that she figures it out, the trip will have vanished from her mind. I am off to hide the new bustle. That will help her forget.
See you tomorrow.

Tessie's new dress is beautiful! I hope she decides to wear it once in a while...
I can't get over how you've done so much sewing whilst on a weekend away. I've taken miniature sewing whilst caravanning, and did manage to get some done, but not as much as Tessie has been lucky enough to receive all in a few days. And of course she is not grateful - it is expected!
Im thinking you should wrote a book Casey with all your lovely pictures of Tessie Zar and the dogs!
You would be able to do a series!
I adore Tessies new dress! Just as well she did change before she sailed away on the bike with Zar!lol
That dress reminds me of wedding bells, very lovely. You know what they say about barefoot brides, can you make baby blankets too?
Hi Casey, I'm sory I did not write much in the last few days but I ept constant touch with you. Tessie is really a little spoilt witch...but that's why we love her I suppose.BTW how can you be so FAST? it is a mistery to me
Tessie looked so lady-like in her new dress, but I can understand the lure of the bike! Cool bike, Zar!
