Books, Books, Books!

OK I have been making books until I am blue in the face. I have a total of only 166 and the ones that you see at the front of the photo in a messy pile aren't finished. I am calculating that I will need at least 3 times what I have. I am growling under my breath a lot. I am too fussy. I need titles on the spines of all of the books that will be in the bookcases. I'm not however, crazy enough to think that there should be working pages in every one. Thank goodness I haven't gone that far around the bend!
A long time ago I spent some time as an inventory clerk. I still find myself counting things when I don't need to. This is one of the times when I should try not to. It just shows me how many more I need to make.
I will have to make a few books with pages. I don't even want to think about that. It seems like I just keep thinking of more things that have to be done. One thing leads to at least three others.......

I am bookmaking at night while watching TV. It will get done sooner or later. It is just a slow process.

I finished the trim on the bottom bay yesterday. I'm still not convinced that is how it should look. I am planning on putting some sort of curtains behind the front cutout. They will match the cushion. There will also be a simple curtain on the front window that matches. Keep all fingers and toes crossed. I only have a small piece of that fabric left. No mistakes! As you can see, I still need to trim out the inside of the windows too.
This is going slowly. I have a real life that keeps interfering. Darn! Dish washing and laundry are never ending.
The last thing I accomplished yesterday was more of the rock work. I think I am going to carry the rocks up to the second story in the front, so I can't go too much farther with that until I attach the top floor.
I know I jump around a lot. It is a lot more fun that way.
I had other fun things to do this morning. Now I have to go back to being serious. I see more rocks in my future.
Am I having fun yet??? Sure I am!
See you tomorrow.
