Causing a Lot of Friction...

Walter and I decided to take a morning trip down to the OK Corral.  We loaded up and went to Tombstone this morning... Of course Tessie insisted on joining us.

This photo was taken a few miles down the road from our house, when Walter stopped for gas.

Tessie, of course, asked in a loud voice, "Are we there yet?"  And I had to tell her no! What a ruckus.
We got down to Allen Street in time for breakfast. We went directly to the Longhorn and had a great meal there.

Wyatt Earp overlooked our table and Tessie tried her best to get to him...

I kept telling her, "No Tessie. That's just a painting of him...

She got as far as the hunting trap next to him and then gave up...

She ate most of my breakfast and then wanted a tour of the town...

Not a lot was open at that time, so we went into the shops that were open and looked around.

Our total purchases consisted of a t-shirt for me and a Wyatt Earp golf ball for Walter.

Tessie insisted on going into the Birdcage Theater and she was fascinated with this pre cursor of the juke box.  She liked the "Tinny sounding music".
There was a stage coach taking people for a short ride up and down the street.

Tessie was not happy that she didn't get to go.

She sat on the horse trough in front of the Birdcage Theater and pouted...

When we got back to Tucson, she cheered up. She went and taunted Daisy with, "You won't take me to Tombstone in the time machine, but Casey and Walter took me in his Mustang.  That was better!"

She then proceeded to try to convince Daisy that MY t-shirt was hers... It just had to be shrunk down a bit...

That really made Daisy mad.  The fact that Tessie got a free trip to Tombstone and she didn't get to go.  And Tessie got a BIG t-shirt and she didn't.

I did explain that the t-shirt was mine and Tessie didn't get one.  That made Daisy feel better... Then she started taunting Tessie with, "I really know Wyatt Earp and Doc Holiday and YOU DON'T!"

I am now in the middle of the argument.  They both want me to make the two men in miniature... So that they can both invite a gunslinger to lunch...

Don't hold your breath ladies!

Back to work.

See you tomorrow.

That sounds like a rollicking good time you guys had in Tombstone! Are there still fudge stores everywhere down there?
