No. I wasn't sitting on the ground two feet away from my favorite squirrel. For once, he came out to meet me and I stayed inside with the zoom lens and took it from a safe distance, through the kitchen door.
Joan had me take another load of wood home.
The Witches will be building "She Sheds" if I get my way.
I hate the name, but love the idea... Maybe we could call them "She Shrines"?
Anyway, the graph paper is being put to good use and the wood pile that Joan is trying to whittle down to a smaller size is being reduced.
It is going to have to be a small one. There was one piece of siding for each of us. That will make six inch deep walls on either side and seven inches high. We will have to do something else for the back and the floor and roof. Joan and I both have a lot of leftover shingles and everybody probably has some foam core lying around.
I am going to have to make a list of things that they will need.
As soon as Tessie saw what I was doing, she of course claimed it as hers. She specified that it had to be big enough to hold her wicker one woman chair. It will be ... Just large enough.
By the time I get it built, she will have ordered all new furniture to go in it... None of that used stuff for her.
I have to get back at it now. A "She Shrine" won't build itself, you know.
Now where did I put that Exacto?
See you tomorrow.

Hello Casey,
A She-shrine sounds like a terrific project. I can't wait to see your sketches come to life.
Big hug

Those were excellent Goodwill finds! We're off to Salvation Army today. Hope we're as lucky. I've never liked She Sheds either. Reminds me of that obnoxious tongue twister about Seashells. You know the one. I prefer Lady Sheds, myself. Diva Domains comes in at a close second. Let's face it, though, the whole house is usually our domain ;) But whatever you call it I'm anxious to see what y'all come up with! Perhaps, the other witches will let you post pictures of theirs as well for this one.
