One Step at a Time....

I had Walter help me move the little shelf that is shaped like a house out to the garage this morning. The one that was out there came back in side.  It is already pretty full, but it holds more than the other one so I'm a happy camper...

The pile that you see here is just part of the books that I plan on urging my friends and relatives(April) to take off of my hands.

They are mostly craft, mini, gardening and knitting books. I will find them a good home, or at least make an attempt to, before I give them to Goodwill.
This is the first move.  I have these two units pretty well cleaned out... Please don't open the drawers on the bottom.  I still need to do those.

The more I clean, the more room I have. At least that's the theory.

I am starting to the right of the door and methodically moving around the room. Before I get done, I will probably move everything at least twice.  Maybe three times.

So far, I am happy with the way it is going...
These two top cases are probably going to stay just as they are, now that I have them rearranged.

You may be wondering what is happening with Tessie....
I kept feeling like someone was watching me sort and clean... Actually it was two someone-s. I turned around when I was finished cleaning those two bookcases and quickly figured out why.

There was Tessie, sitting on Spike's lap and the two of them were whispering about me... At least that's how it seemed.  They were immediately silent when they saw me turn around...

I am seriously thinking of grabbing them both and locking them in the hall closet... Just to keep them out of the way. And they will be safe from harm there.  That is not a threat... Honest.  It's just a hint that something might happen if they keep talking about me behind my back...

Back to work.

See you tomorrow.

You could always take the books to your library. If they don't need them on the shelves our libraries sell donated books to raise funds.

Good idea Sheila. My daughter is a librarian. I am sure that she will know what to do with the extras.

Hello Casey,
I think it's wonderful how you look out for Tessie and Spikes best interest!
