Did You Ever Have One of Those Days?

I am having one right now.  Nothing that I start gets further than ten minutes along and I want to do something else.

The pussy willows did not get done.  I just didn't like how they were turning out so I went off on a tangent and that didn't work either.

I won't go through all of the different things that I tried.  Lets just say that none were satisfactory.

I decided to go out in the yard and look around for ideas... I am going to have a lot of rosemary branches to use in minis this year.  They have finally stopped blooming and the bees are calming down so that I will be able to trim them soon.

I did cut some of the remains of the blooms on the Nandina just a little while ago.  Not as good a crop as past years.  Maybe not enough water?

Anyway, I did get some to keep me going in mini plants.

The orange tree on the rooftop of the Tudor Trailer is an example.  All of the oranges are berries from the Nandina.  I cut it just at the right time and the little seed balls had turned orange and didn't fall off.  Worked great. 

So far, this year, the seed balls are still red and most of them are falling off in that state.  No oranges this year.

Anyway, it has been a very unsatisfactory day for getting things done.  I am giving up and will start in the morning.  Wish me luck. I'm going to need it if today is any example of things to come.
