A Short Tale of Woe...

 

Walter had a cold about a week ago... I caught it from him, but I also thought that Tessie should be included in the mix.  I gave it to her yesterday.

She immediately went to the fanciest bed she could find.  However, one of the dogs had custody, so she backed off.

 She opted for a bed with cake... You know how she is.  Cake can cure any illness.  If you eat enough of it.

So there she sits.  Cake in hand...

Mind you, she fought me off with a big stick...So no cake to cure me.

I cancelled a doctor's appointment this morning because I didn't think that the doctor would appreciate me spreading the cold to other patients.

I spent the morning sneezing, coughing and blowing my nose about every five minutes.

I finally gave up and decided that the best place to be was on the bed with a warm cat.

I can't say that it is working yet.  Still sneezing and coughing.  But at least I am where I won't risk giving it to others.  So....

I am not cleaning or mini-ing. Kota is a good nurse.  Maybe by tomorrow I will be going back to mini-ing.  Not today though.
