Cut and Paste...Stonework...

It pays to go to Thanksgiving dinner... There were branches laying on the ground in the back yard.  I scavenged... More plants... Either for the greenhouse or something else.  I liked the shape of the branches.  Good mini tree material.
I finally finished the bricking on one end of the conservatory.  I still need to go over it all with the crochet hook, but I at least have most all of the stonework in place.

I have a couple of gaps at the ends, between the wall and the roof.  Gargoyles or dragons?  Anything to cover the gap.  We shall see.

This one is the worst.  It will be somewhat fixed when I glue the walls in place.  They are a bit catawampus right now.  I have to keep the roof separate from the wall because that is the only way to get into the structure. Sooner or later, I will figure it out.

This one is in the back, where the hinge is.  The whole roof tilts back so I have to keep it somewhat open.  Another, figure it out as I go, situation.

Ignore the pins.  They are just holding stonework in place until it dries.

I am off to do more stonework now.

See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey! I love the look of the door end of the conservatory and the way you have framed the door with the stone. It is all looking authentic as well as functional- Great Work!

Thanks you two. I still have a long way to go to make it look like what I see in my head. The door still needs some ironwork.
