Then I was really bad. I told Tessie that, if she wants curtains, she had better get to work.
I didn't tell her that I would be back after I finished fixing a stretching bracelet.
Walter came to me with his favorite bracelet yesterday and it looked like it was about to bust apart and lose beads.
We can't let that happen, so I went to work.
That was yesterday afternoon... Zar kept offering to help, but Tessie would have none of that.
I finished the repair work. I took the whole bracelet apart and re strung it from scratch. This time I used 6 pound test fishing line. It is also sold as Fireline at bead shops for a lot more money... Same thing.
Anyway, it should hold up for at least a couple of years before I have to do it again.
But in the meantime, since I had the materials out, I started another one. I love doing this pattern. It goes together fast and pretty easy.
Now all I have to do is finish this one and I can take over for Tessie...
She seems to be having difficulties with using my small sewing scissors for some reason.
I guess that, since it is Sunday, I should let her rest... It's her choice. I will be back at it on Monday at the latest. I have a bracelet to finish.
See you tomorrow.

Hello Casey,
It really is a lovely bracelet. I'm glad you were able to fix it before it came undone and some of the lovely beads lost.
Big hug
Giac
Not to worry, Giac! I have a room overflowing with extra beads!G
