A Good Time Was Had By All...

I spent the morning getting ready for the witches.  Whilst I did that, the Terrible Two plus a new dog that Tessie found while we were cleaning the workroom, sat and discussed what I was going to be doing to Tessie's new bedroom...
While the witches were here, I went in to get something from the workroom.  There was Tessie and Zar.   They were discussing how long it would take me to mess up the newly cleaned workroom.  Tessie bet three days.  Zar said a week.  Hmmm who would I like to see win that argument?

I think that I can keep it clean for a week... If nothing else, just to show Tessie that I can!

After the witches went home... This is what happened in the kitchen... The Terrible two found a couple of dessert forks and were about to go at the half a leftover pie... I caught them just in time... Took the forks away and shooed them out.  More for me and Walter that way!

I am going to have to put a lock on the refrigerator tonight!  Maybe Kota will stand guard for me.  He hates pie! Yup.  That's the ticket!

Sorry that there weren't more minis today.  I will start the draperies tomorrow.

See you then.

Former military people often have the cleanest work spaces long after they are out of the military. It gets drilled into them everyday from boot camp on that you put things away in the proper place as soon as possible. Nothing is ever left out at the end of the work session. A messy work space is a dangerous one. So basically it is a matter of creating the habit of putting stuff away right immediately if you are looking through a box for something and/or then putting materials away when you are through with them and also returning tools to their place when you finish using that tool.

Seems like it would waste a lot of time getting stuff out again but in the long run less time gets wasted and the work space does not get so depressing that you don't want to go in there so productivity and creativity are therefore increased.

But don't expect me to be that organized all the time. I was never in the military but I did have a job that required putting all the tools away and sweeping up at the end of every work day.

I'll put it away as soon as I can't get from one place to another in the room. That's my rule of thumb!LOL

Okay Giac. That saying requires a new sign to be made with your name on it. Thanks
for adding to my list of sayings.
May I have a Big Hug?
