I have Trees! Lots of trees and maybe some bushes and geraniums...
I trimmed the Nandina this morning. Some of the seed pod branches are getting quite large. I may have a forest on my hands next year!
In case you can't guess, Tessie and I are spending some time outside while the weather is nice...
It's supposed to be 83 today. Yesterday it got to 90. It's cooling down a bit. One year it snowed on Easter... You never know what's coming next here.
This is yesterday's gardening... I took three pieces of my lavender plant to see if I could root them and make more. It took more than a month to do this one...but it had a LOT of nice roots. The other two are still trying. I may yet have another lavender bush without paying for it.
Tessie thinks that it will help if she stays there and watches it grow. Every now and then I hear her whisper... "Come on! Grow!" It's a VERY loud whisper...
I also harvested some bark that was about to fall off of the Mesquite and Fig trees. Now all I have to do is think of a way to incorporate them into something for the fairy garden...
It is way to nice outside to spend the day inside. I am going back out there for a while. I have orders to stay out of the sun, so I am thinking that re potting plants, on the porch, should be the plan.
Back to work.
See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey. I agree that you should enjoy the "nice" weather while you can. Before too
long, you will have it too hot. Where I live (a bit further north than you) it won't get up to the 80s until probably July and if we have 90s, it won't be until August. It's close to 60s here, and it has stopped raining for today, so we think it's ideal.
I've lived here for a long time and I always think of February as the start of spring.

Hello Casey,
Enjoy some of that weather for me...no plants outside here!
