Life Is Full of Compromise....

I left the bedroom to go get something to drink.  When I returned, Tessie was busy stitching on my latest rug...

That is not a normal Tessie thing.  I was a bit suspicious....

"OK Tessie.  What are you doing", I asked.

Her answer? "I am helping you finish this rug, so that you will be obligated to do something for me in return."

I might have known...
I kicked her out and went to work on the rug myself.  Actually, she did a pretty nice section of stitches.  The red in the middle is all hers.

Later, I heard noises coming from the living room.  When I went to investigate, I found that Tessie's Townhouse was almost completely bare.

And she was about to push a rather large piece of furniture over the edge of the second floor.
I looked down and this is what I saw.  Tessie followed the wardrobe down to one of the baskets that she was tossing belongings into...

She had everything but the curtains in the two baskets and was about to zap them away...

I didn't want them to end up in one of her storage rooms in the walls of my house, so I politely asked what she was doing...

She looked down the end of her nose at me and announced, "I can't live in the middle of the living room anymore!"

Most of the time, she doesn't.  She is usually elsewhere in the house.  The townhouse is her least favorite dwelling.  So... I bit the bullet and asked why.  It seems that she doesn't like it there, because Walter and Kota make too much noise when watching TV.

She is never in the living room, so how would she know?

Anyway, to make a long story short.  She has decided that the townhouse should be elsewhere.  Then maybe she would consider living in it...

I am now frantically running around the house with a tape measure and notepad in hand.  Trying to find a place that the big old building will fit... Not an easy task.

It is very heavy and I am only going to ask Walter to move it once. So I have to be certain that it is going to work out, before we make the move.

According to Tessie, there is a limit to what she can zap from one place to another, so it is up to us to do the job.

Back to the measuring and taking notes.

See you tomorrow.

Kathy, the first thing you have to do is make friends with a mini witch. That's the first step to the madness. LOL

Hello Casey,
Will you ever get a chance to relax? I hope you find a spot Tessie likes.
