Fairy Doors for Mini Fairies!

Another one of those three in the morning ideas...

As soon as I am fit enough to do it, I am going to do mini fairy doors for my mini houses.

I did a few rough sketches this morning...

I think that the finished ones will be or poly clay or wood.
I tried one in cardstock... It doesn't work well.   I just colored it with Prismacolor pencils and it doesn't look real.

When I get back from the hospital, I will try poly clay ASAP.
I tore out all of the stitches on the Russian rug and started the zig-zag once again.  and it still isn't working right.  GRRRRR.

I know that the border is right.  I have something messed up somewhere.  I may just have to improvise...
Meanwhile, in preparation for my hospital, overnight stay, I moved the Weaver's workshop to the front hallway.  Less of a temptation for Kota while I am not here to detain him.  He thinks that the tiny things in that particular building are for his amusement...

I have to go in at 7:15AM and if my lungs sound good(no chest cold left), it will be a go for the surgery at 9:15AM.

Walter will be in charge until I get back.  One of us will see you tomorrow!

You do such lovely things and I am so inspired! I always learn something new from your blog. I'm sorry the rug is giving you trouble. You might try stitching from the corner instead of trying to get the zig-zag in first-I've done lots of Cross-stitch and I find that anytime I just go out into space I have problems! anyway, just a thought. Good luck tomorrow!

Hi Casey, I went to the beginning of your blog a year and a half ago to read all your postings. I got all caught up and have been enjoying my daily Casey hit. It is kind of you to have Walter as your back up for us. I'm sending you warm, good health and happiness thoughts. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, best of luck.
