Back to the Business at Hand...

OK.  I am back to working on the
Weaver's Workshop I got the stones on the edge and the house glued to the board, yesterday. I also painted the rocks.  It's hard to see in the photo, but they pretty much match the chimney.

Then, this morning, I started putting in the weedy yard.  IT isn't beautiful, but Zar and Tessie are both lazy about yard work.  And Zar just wants to cover it up anyway.

He will be putting all of his extra lumber out in the side yard.  He still has to build a stand to keep it off of the ground and make a tarp to put over it to protect it from the weather... That could take a lot of prodding and poking to get him to do that part.

Speaking of prodding and poking, we have the surgery scheduled for a week from today.  I only stay in the hospital overnight, so I could probably just pop in and say "Hi!" via Walter, if nothing else.  Just to keep my record going!

Back to work!

See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey. I haven't tried landscaping yet. When I get ready to, I will look up your
instructions. I do have a ready supply of egg cartons. And it's time I got back to
working on my two little houses too.
Sending you prayers and angels for your surgery and a quick recovery.

Casey,

Your blog was the first one I found when I decided to get back into miniatures after a 30 year absence. Thanks to you, I have jumped in with both feet and have never been happier. May your surgery be a complete success, and your recovery even quicker! You brighten so many lives with your blog!

Surgery! I went back through the posts and didn't see where you mentioned it. I must have missed it. I hope it's nothing serious and that you recover quickly. You've got great support in Walter and you have so many people thinking positive thoughts about you each and every day that I'm sure you'll sail through. All the best. - Marilyn D., Oromocto, NB, Canada
