I always take something to work on. This time it was the rug travel box.
I got a few more stitches on each one of these rugs. And then a couple of short naps. The place is a bit boring if you didn't bring the right entertainment.
They play elevator music in the background. I forgot my earphones, so no noise from the iPad.
Anyway, I did get started on a bag that I want to make.
The two zippers that you see are going on the inside. They can be any color. They are pretty old. They are 5" long. I haven't seen that size in stores for a long time.
"Good idea!" I have to stop talking to myself!
Naturally, Tessie came bouncing in and announced, "Whatever I can carry away is MINE."
You know the usual routine. She's not getting it!
This is a patch the I did in needlepoint several years ago. It was in a book of Egyptian designs. I thought that It might make a good outside pocket on a wild Bohemian kind of bag.
I am up for making one. I am just not sure if I am brave enough to carry one.
I also would like to put together some boot bracelets this winter. If you aren't familiar with those, go put boot bracelets in your favorite search engine. I just did it in Pinterest and got a lot of interesting styles... Again, I know I can make them... Now someone give me a big push towards wearing them. I am going to start out small and conservative... and work my way to Wild and Crazy... Maybe...
I am going to relax for the rest of the evening. Tomorrow I work!
See you then.
