This is what a clean closet looks like? I think it is... It has been a long time since I have seen the floor, back wall or even the shelves...
I took it upon myself to take everything out and start over... Actually I am quite proud of my accomplishment...
The reason for the title of this entry is... You never know what you will find once you start digging...
In a former life, back in the seventies, I used to teach needlework classes. This was my sampler of the stitches that I taught...
Down in the bottom left corner it says "Casey 78". Yup. It was a LONG time ago... Before minis!
I haven't seen this piece for a number of years... I found it face to the wall at the top of the closet.
Kota helped me clean the closet... Then he led me into the workroom... I shouldn't have followed him... I am such a sucker!
He seems to think that we are having fun.
Wherever I am working, he gets to play and explore... He seldom gets to do that in the workroom, unless I am in there. The door is always closed and he doesn't know Mookie's trick of jumping up and pulling down on the handle. Thank goodness!
HE may tire of playing before I am done cleaning though... Three days should do the trick.
Back to the workroom. Tying a rope around my ankle now. If I yell, come pull me out!
See you tomorrow.

Nice sampler! Do you think you can use it in a 1:12 project?
Very nice sampler. Anyways, I see the beat goes on and you are keeping up the cleaning process and you say three days! I am inspired, Casey. Because it is so darn hot and humid in Ottawa that I have to hang on not to lose it. I, also, am cleaning. I am allowing twenty minutes per room of just picking up and then I will go around again and again. I have to jump on a bus shortly to pick up some groceries. It seems I am always running out of something when I want to try a new recipe. Being vegan, I eat a lot of vegetables. I want to try a few recipes (cucumber humus and zucchini cakes). I need cucumbers and zucchinis! See ya later, alligator!
Grand mommy, no way will the sampler work in mini. It's about 14" square!
Lucille, I know how you feel! I went for veggies to juice this morning. I went to three different stores. No loose beets anywhere! I refuse to buy a "bunch" that is only three beets at twice the price!
Hello Casey,
What fun cleaning can be...kind of. That is a great sampler.
Best of luck with the rest of the cleaning.
Big hug,
Giac
Hmmm, 14 inches could still be a very large rug....It's beautiful!
