Who You Gonna Call?

It was strangely quiet in the house this morning....

There were a couple of clicks and rattles every once in a while, that I shouldn't have been hearing...

I followed the sounds to the computer room...

Yup.  You guessed it.  I walked in as Tessie, carrying the pogo stick, clamored onto the desktop.  While I stood there in plain site watching, she mounted the pogo stick and hopped down to the keyboard... Evidentially, she has been   practicing...
I immediately tried to grab the pogo stick....

She hid it behind her back and ran into the bedroom!

She side stepped me several times and then landed in her director's chair...

That's when I grabbed the bag of catnip and sprinkled her with it, like fairy dust.
Then I started yelling for Kota... He can smell catnip a mile away.  He is an addict.

Tessie threw the pogo stick at his head.  He dodged and kept eating catnip from the carpet...

Guess who now has possession of the pogo stick?

ME!  Kota couldn't care less about pogo sticks when there is a bit of catnip in the rug...

So I win!  So there, Tessie!  Take that!

See you tomorrow.

Hahaha. Cute. Pogo sticks aren't as easy to use as they look but what great exercise. The same with stilts. When I was a kid my dad made my brother and I a set of stilts. I'm not sure I ever got far on them. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.

Connie, I was really good on the stilts that my dad made. I remember a couple of summers when some of other kids in the neighborhood pretty much lived on stilts. Fun times! G

Aw I received a pogo stick for my 11th birthday. I pretty much lived on it and fir it for many months afterwards. Yes, thanks for the trip down memory lane, Casey.
I'm also thinking you would have made that sweet little pogo stick so now I'm gonna search this wonderful blog of yours to discover how :)
