One sliding glass door. Check. Four windows...Check
OK. I couldn't stand it. The parts are all present and accounted for.
The Terrible Two made me open it. Not my fault that they couldn't wait...
It's just a good thing that I have done this kind of thing before...
This one sheet is all of the instructions that came with the kit.
It came all the way from Thailand, by way of HBS http://www.miniatures.com/ Thank you Miniatures.com!
I am going to put a link Under "Miniature Inspirations", at the bottom of the sidebar, so that you can go to HBS at your convenience while I am working on the kit.
This is going to be fun. If you want to do one too, they are a limited edition for the contest. You might want to order soon. I don't know how fast they go.
I'm already waking up at 3:00AM to think of what needs to be done...
No, this photo is not of a mistake. The door is upside down for a reason. The entrance is going to be up a couple of steps from the ground. I will just say that the interior is going to have a sunken living room... and there are going to be more windows...
I fear that the fiberboard that this is made from is going to take the place of the theater trays for the time being... Kota likes it already... I had to break it to him that I was NOT making him a cat house!
While I was out this morning, I stopped at a Goodwill that I don't usually go to... I think I was supposed to!
This book was just waiting for me.
Now I have to go do the painting and the bookcase in the observatory. Then I can start this with an almost clear conscience. We won't discuss the unfinished kitchen in Daisy's cottage... Hey! She doesn't stop flitting around long enough to cook anything. She is just happy to have a place to sleep and take a bath...
It will get finished. Just not today.
See you tomorrow.

Casey,
After not creating miniatures for over 30 years, I have jumped back in after retiring. In three months, I made four rooms and a dollhouse. I am now taking my time on my forever beach house.
Thank you for allowing me to watch and learn new tricks of the trade. Who knows, one day I will start a blog. It will have to be after all the house renovations that I am doing will be finished.
