Ultra Light...

I worked on the console table for the time machine yesterday and this morning... It took forever, going through boxes and trying lights and parts.

I finally decided on a black desk for the console.

It's still in pieces.  The edge with the nail heads is simply a board with part of a leather wrap bracelet from Walmart, that I bought a few years ago.  It needs another coat of paint and I see a gap in the glue on the left front edge.  That's the first thing that needs to be fixed when I finish here.

Walter contributed this piece.  It was a part for a remote control for his golf cart.  It no longer works for him, but it is the perfect size to go under the console and hold up the desk.

I think that it needs a few lights, among other things. Or the other alternative is to continue with the things that I have above the desk...
This is the piece that is going above and behind the desktop.

after seeing the photo, I am definitely going to move the sphere in the middle.  I think it would look better in the top left corner.  It sticks out to far where it is.

I almost have the landing platform finished, in my head.  Now all I have to do is get it out of there and make it for real.

Back to work!

See you tomorrow...
