Brussel Sprouts and Coffins...

I went to Walmart this morning and found, of all things to grow, Brussels sprouts.  I brought them home and planted some in the pot with the last of the tomatoes and the rest went in the water tank.

It is supposed to be 92 today!  And by Monday it will be down in the low 70s for the high.  Low being 49degrees...

We always say that it turns cold around Halloween, but this is ridiculous.
I got some more of the Craft Cottage rug stitched this morning too...

A few rows of black, the bright green spot in the middle and more of the upper right corner.

I have decided that I have stretched this out long enough.  I am GOING to finish it ASAP.  The cottage looks bare without it.
Meanwhile, the Terrible Two, plus one, found my coffin from the party.  I told you that Tessie was going to want to sleep in it.

Unfortunately, she told a story about sleeping in one, at a fellow witches' house, one time.  Now Zar wants one too...

Spike overheard.  I am NOT building a coffin bed for that dog!  He already has a four poster in his Tudor Dog House and another four poster in the townhouse! Talk about pampered pets!

Anyway, The three of them have grandiose plans for a future build.  They will just have to wait in line for the coffin bed project!

I am going back to work on the rug and time machine.  Not necessarily in that order.

See you tomorrow.

That rug will look really eye catching once it's finished. So many pretty patterns and colours! It's original!
