A Note From Daisy...

I got ready to work on the kitchen this morning.

When I reached in to measure for the back wall, this is what I found!

Daisy strikes again!

Just in case you can't read her writing, it says.

"Casey!
I left you a piece of glass on the counter.  It's for a cooking top for the stove.
         Make it happen!
                    Daisy.
P. S. I refuse, absolutely, to cook with wood, gas  or coils!"
Strangely, the writing looks a lot like Tessie's....

Anyway, I cut a piece to fit above the stove and did some sketches of what I want the top to look like.

It's a bit hard to see in the sketch, but there will be niches for coffee pot, spices, dishes, and a round one for bottles of wine. There is a hanging basket for fruit to the left.

The strange thing at the top is a range hood.... For safety's sake...
After I got the drawing done, I went to see what was going on in the house...

Tessie is still up to her nose in suds. She refuses to budge.  She told me, "My clothes aren't clean yet!"

Drastic measures will occur now. A 24 hour bath is long enough to test for leaks!

I just sent Edgar, the baby elephant, back in to pull the plug... That's assuming that he can find it.

I think that Tessie has used two and a half bottles of bubble bath so far...not her size... Mine!

Anyway, as soon as I can pry her out of the tub, I will get back to work.

Wish me luck!

See you tomorrow.

Hello Casey,
The drawings look fantastic. I can't wait to see it come to life.
Big hug,
Giac
p.s. I wish had enough free time to take a bath that long!

I love the kitchen! Do you do them in big people sizes by any chance? Makes me dream of having one! :-)

Katie, you sound just like my daughter. She has been asking that same question about my miniatures since she was about ten years old. Many, many times! LOL

Giac, I wouldn't advise that you follow Tessie's example. She came out looking like a combination of a drowned rat and a prune... Not a pretty site!

Hi Casey
I think the sketch for the kitchen looks amazing....If anyone can bring it to life, I know it'll be you. :)
All the best and take care.
