Twas the Day Before Christmas...

And all through the house....

Widget has a favorite place to sleep when it's cold...It is a complicated procedure.

First I spread his favorite blanket.  Then he jumps in and gets comfortable and I wrap him up like a burrito.

It doesn't take long for him to get drowsy.

When he's really comfortable, all you can see is his ears...

Then Tessie ruins the whole nap thing.  She snuggles down in with him to keep warm too...

He whispers in her ear, "Either settle down or get out of my burrito..."

Semi quiet time ensues.  I take a photo and this happens.

"Please take that blasted camera and leave us alone!  It's nap time."

OK.  I can take a hint.  I came in here to write the blog and as far as I know, the rest of the morning will be peaceful and quiet....as long as Tessie doesn't start teasing Widget....If she does, I am not responsible for what happens....She is about the size of a small rat or a large mouse....

Now I am going to go start cooking for Christmas dinner.
