I Want a Medal!

I deserve it!  I have the cleanest workroom that I have had in a number of years!

Mind you, its not perfect, but it is close.

See that beige stuff at the bottom of the photo?  That's called a carpet. I even vacuumed it this morning.
The only spot with dust still on it is the attic in Casey's Cottage.  Somehow, it already has a layer of dust in the attic.  I am just waiting for the tiny spiders to show up so it will have the required cobwebs.

All in all, Tessie is keeping it pretty clean.  Did I mention that, shortly after it was finished, Tessie took over?
Speaking of one of the Terrible Two... They had the nerve to sit on the desk and cheer me on as I worked.

They found a laundry basket of undelivered Christmas gifts and are fighting over who gets what.

That will keep them busy for a while.
Anyway, just to prove that I didn't just do one end of the room, here's the other end.

I am so proud!

Now I have to go and start messing it up again.  I can't stand all of that neatness.

See you tomorrow.

Your tidy workroom looks great and I like your distraction technique for the terrible two.

Well done on your tidying up!! I need to have my space cleaned and tidy before I start work otherwise I will not be able to start. I'll think about the mess and don't concentrate on my work...Have a Nice Christmas and I hope you can keep it tidy for long :)

Well done Casey. I have also just spent a day tidying my craftroom so I can enjoy using it while on my Christmas break. I have found my desk again. Yay.

Phyllisa, I accidentally deleted your comment. My fingers are too big for the iPad. I am putting it back the only way I know how. Here it is.
Hi Casey. Yes, you deserve a medal for tidying your craft room. Makes me think that I have to get back to working on organizing mine, which will be a big job. I needed to join a craft room with a sewing room when I moved to this house. My last house had both. I can see the only way to do it is to let go of a lot of things. If I can keep my goal of an organized space in mind, I can do it.
Phyllisa

Sorry about that!

your room looks great Casey! You are an inspiration to all of us. I am almost done un-packing and I am afraid I will not be able to find anything! I am looking forward to working on some projects again after the holidays.

Yes, I just saw that and you're right!
This is the opposite of a mess :)

Love your blog; by the way.
