Look What I found! Sometimes it pays to clean the workroom.
I made a base for the workshop when I was last working on it. It was sandwiched between a couple of bookcases.
Yes, I know that the chimney leans outwards from the building...When we were in Carmel CA last year, I decided that I wanted a chimney like the one on "The Tuck Box" tearoom. It has a wrought Iron brace between the building and the chimney, that appears to be holding it up. Very cool.
OK. Tessie is officially fired from working on the rug. She did about ten more rows yesterday and then sat there and stared at the TV for the rest of the afternoon.
My turn.
I did finish the weaving on the chair that Zar started. He is in his Tudor Trailer, pouting. I don't think that he really minded being kicked out of the workshop. This just means he has more time to follow me around and beg me to work on the Clockwork Cottage.
Don't feel sorry for him. He has everything he needs in the trailer. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if he spends a lot of time there after I finish the Clockwork Cottage.
It's the safest place to be if he doesn't want Tessie finding the secret laboratory/workshop. And besides, his beloved Steampunk organ in the rooftop patio there.
I have to get back to work, since everybody else seems to have gone on strike. Maybe I should bake some cookies. They work better than money in this house.
See you tomorrow.

The chair is amazing!
Greetings, Faby
I vote for the cookies, the rest of that stuff can wait till later :)
Hi Casey! I love the way the chimney is leaning and I hope that you Will make a wrought iron bracket to visually brace it and so get it completed. It would add so much more even though the cottage is already wonderful!l I am glad that you were able to find the base for it! Your chair is really lovely and Again I marvel at your speed. I would be plugging along with no end in sight but you start them AND get them finished in a blink of an eye! The end result is a Knock Out chair and now the next question is,... who is going to get it???

I love how the rug is turning out, and I love, love the chair. :)
Love the chimney and love the chair. Look forward to seeing what fabric you choose to go on the seat.
The Tuck Box! Wow, that brought back memories. I haven't been there in years, but loved the preserves they sold, especially Olloliberry! Yum!
