Fourteen Different Directions At Once...

Well, maybe it's only four at once right now, but more will be added as it gets closer to Christmas.

As soon as I did a trial run on the last curtain, Junior moved in and started practicing....Literally...She couldn't talk any people into it, so she used Spike as a customer...

Zar wisely stayed out of her line of sight.

Second Direction?  April knows she is getting this for Christmas.  She picked out the back pack style bag and told me to tangle it.

I am doing so.  I don't think that I am going to do the back side.  Nobody will probably see that part.  Saves me lots of time for other things. I'm about 1/3 done.
Third.  I usually make everyone in the immediate family socks for Christmas.  This year, I am doing other things.  I bought a couple of skeins of different colorways of the "Amazing" Lion Brand yarn.

Tessie is under the impression that I am knitting blankets and sleeping bags at a mad pace for her use....They are scarves and stocking caps for others...Don't tell her.

By the way.  If you buy any of this yarn and want patterns, there are lots of them written specifically for it on the Lion Brand Yarn website.  That's where I found the one for the Zig Zag scarf that Tessie is holding.

Fourth, I pulled everything out of the closet in the computer room this morning...It is mostly fabric.  Some of it, I could almost list as "vintage".  I have had it for a long time.

Anyway, I am determined to cut down the size of the stash.  April called and I told her what I was up to.  She told me to hold on to the donate stack until they came over Sunday so she could see if any of it would be useful to her.

If she doesn't take it, it is going away to someone that will use it.  There is just way too much in there.

Yup.  I guess 4 is my limit for today.  I will get to the other ten directions another time.

Back to folding and putting away fabric.  Did I mention that I was only trying to get to a bin of yarn at the back of said closet?  That's how it all started.  Back to work now.

See you tomorrow.

I was going through my fabric stash the other day, so many pretty patterns but not enough time. Do you have a yarn stash too? That seems to be my downfall lately. Not that I'm complaining, but I think I need a magical bag of holding just to keep it all. I might give that Amazing a try, you make it look nice. I need to make hats for my nephew and brother-in-law.

Hello Casey,
The curtains are just wonderful. you really did an excellent job. Bravo!
In the past month I've sat by my craft drawers and started going through all the bits and pieces I had left over...Each time I tried, I stopped after 4 minutes of sorting...it's juts so boring and I can never get rid of anything!!! Good luck with that.
Big hug,
Giac
