And the table is going to get painted, once again. It keeps looking worse and worse.Or maybe we just need a different table...
One more curtain panel to go...
As for the rug, I am almost a quarter of the way around the outside now... I think that I am about half done...That's if you want to be realistic about it...
Each of the stripes have 10 stitches....It repeats every five rows...50 stitches a repeat...
I resisted up until I realized those numbers above...I counted....
Are you ready for this? Stupid rug will have 10,275 stitches in all! Right now, I have other things to do....Real life jumps out at me once in a while....I have to get back to work...
See you tomorrow.

The rug is not only going to fit, it is going to look great! All 10,275 stitches of it. :D
And I thought crocheting was hard??!
I like the table base, but is the top a bit big for the space? If I were messing around with it, I'd put on a coat of black/brown wash over it, heavier in places, and then sand it back to the coral color to show wear spots -- sort of shabby chic it. Then with a nicely embroidered silk shawl as a table cover, Junior would be in business! :)
Kathie, it was black before and didn't read well at all. I have several ideas floating around in my head, inclining a couple that eliminate the table altogether. I'm getting there, sway but surely....
I love the mix of colors, very bohemian gypsy. The gold surround has an ancient Egyptian flare as well (I know don't give Tessie ideas about Cleopatra!). What a great work of art!
Best, Neen
I wouldn't mind having that rug in full size! It's beautiful. I love all the colours. For some reason I tend to like any colour a little brighter in mini work. My first instinct would say colours should be more muted in such tiny spaces but, in reality, I find they don't show up as well if they're not nice and bright. I love your colour sense and how instinctive your matches seem to be. - Marilyn
Very nice work
