First, let me say that I am not good at taking photos in the dark. This was what the sunset looked like from our back yard last night...I was a little disappointed in the photo. The sunset was even more colorful than this. Almost a dark coral. Oh well. It's pretty anyway. One of these days, I am going to have Seth show me the settings for this and write them down. He could have done it justice.OK. We are pretty much done with the second floor now. A few touches here and there, but The top two and the roof look pretty good.
After I finished yesterday, it was decided that the bed would go in the bay. That's where the bed is in our real master bedroom. I guess that Tessie is following me for once.
She moved in some of her clothes. She seems to have misplaced a few of her hangers somewhere in the move. I will either have to find them or make more....Here's a close up of the second floor. The photo isn't great. I am going to have to work on lighting in the family room. All I have right now is the swing arm lamp that is attached to the table and it changes the colors a lot.
Yesterday somebody said that they didn't think that Tessie would let Spike have a dog bed in her bedroom....Spike is her favorite. He can sleep anywhere he wants to. In fact, by the time that the house is finished, I am sure that there will be a few more showing up.
Remember, Rocky Raccoon has already taken up residence on the roof and happily scarfs down her tomatoes. Theo the tiger cub shows up any place that there is food. Monte, the python moved out and went to live under Zar's trailer. He seems to be very happy there. He has taken a job as the watchdog for the place....No burglars want to tangle with a ten foot python....
Now about that last floor of the townhouse....It is going to take some elbow grease and some large storage boxes...This is it...See what I mean about the lighting? The walls in there look almost blue. They are actually very gray....
Somebody grab a box and let's start shoveling out. Who knows? We might find treasure!
This should be fun....Not...
Actually, I can't wait to get started. There is a light at the end of the tunnel!
See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey. Now that you have a sitting area created in Tessie's bedroom,I like the bed in the alcove. The whole room looks lovely.
Phyllisa
I am so impressed with this house! Knowing that you made almost everything that is inside it is even more wonderful!
Love the bed/bath and closet! You have done an outstanding job!
You inspire me to try to finish just ONE house! Maybe someday...
Great work!
Casey its looking great I especially like Tessies Wicker chair and plant stand did you work from a pattern or did you make it up as you went along.
Amie
Amie, all of my wicker is original and moatly one of a kind. I have never worked from patterns, but sometimes I copy photos of real life sized furniture. I'm glad that you like it.
Its mind boggling all the work you've done in this house, Casey. When I think of all the handmade stuff that you engineered. It's just fantastic. There are hours of work just in the bathroom. Not to mention the deck with all the plants. I could go on and on. You're so productive!
Lucille, I think that it is because I don't try to do the houses one at a time. This one has been going on for a long time. When I get stuck on it, I go do something else for a while...Like when I stopped to do Zar's Clockwork Caravan...
Amazing sunset and amazing lot of work done in the house. You are a great ispiration, minihugs , Rosanna
