Back to the Future, All Over Again...

I started working on the townhouse, again this morning. That had Tessie doing a happy dance.

I painted the rest of the bedroom walls. Then I started to paint the rest of the kitchen walls....They kind of drifted into the front hall, and then to the rest of the ground floor. The color is called Rain Gray, by Ceramcoat. First I thought that I would just tie the front hall and the kitchen together and leave the living room white.

Then the more I thought about it, the more I wanted darker walls. All of the rest of the walls in the house are darker and it just looked like I forgot about the living room.

A couple of days ago I found the perfect carpeting for the bedroom. It is a little darker than the green on the walls....I know. In the photo it looks lighter...Not so.

It is going to be Tessie's own little forest hideaway. I think that it will look good, once I get all of the white woodwork in place.

As soon as she saw that I was working on the house, she started moving in.

First came the pile of red suitcases. Then she started zapping furniture in place.

Did I tell you that she is back to wanting mid century modern in the living room? She is.

How do I know? It is all zapped into place and I am having to work around it.

The Dollar Store bookcase is not going to work on that wall. I am either going to have to do some rearranging or build a narrower one. I am thinking narrow and floor to ceiling. We shall see.

Zar finally talked her down from the upstairs. It isn't a good idea to use those stairs. They aren't even fastened in yet. They are just perched against the second floor landing.

Bug beer and cookies will calm her down every time. The only trouble is, Zar talked her down and into the living room area...

No putting in base boards or installing the kitchen wall with the two of them sitting there slurping and chewing.

I guess I will have to go up to the second floor and install carpeting, if I want any peace and quiet...So much for the kitchen......

See you tomorrow.

Hi Casey. I'm happy to see you are working on Tessie's Townhouse again.
It looks good so far. Did I miss the memo that the black and white bed was staying? It looks great with the black wardrobe and that "fancy" chest. Love it!

Phyllisa, you must have missed one last week. Tessie decided to save her fancy furniture for Spiderwort Manor...Whenever it gets built...As I said on that entry..."Don't hold your breath, Tessie!"LOL

Love that you are working on Tessie's townhouse again. I think it's going to be wonderful. I'm trying to get my head around a "mid century modern" witch, but I know YOU can pull that off! :D
