Almost There.....Kind of.....Sort of.....

This morning, I enlisted Zar's help and finished planting the grass, doing rock work around the front and side flower beds and putting the potting soil in place in them. (Don't forget to poke the photos.)

Zar even managed to plant some ferns by the shower tower. Of course, as he finished, Tessie showed up to criticize. She stuck her top half out the window and started barking orders. "A little more to the left. Deeper holes. Don't bend the fronds!"

She was standing on a ladder and managed to get stuck in the window. We had to pull her out through the door, backwards.

She sat down on the drain pipe for the shower tower and wiped her brow with the back of her hand. As she did, she said, "That looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. The ferns are in the exact positions that I directed. Zar, you are to be commended for following orders carefully."

After that, we went to the other end of the trailer and planted the vines against the stairway. They worked out nicely.

This time it was Zar's turn to yell. "Tessie, you didn't wipe your feet. There is dirt all over the new staircase. Get down now and wipe them off.

Her reply? "Do you mean the stairs or my feet? I will do my feet, but you can do your own stairs. That's part of being a homeowner!" And then, "I am NOT your maid!" The routine is back to normal. Tessie criticizing and Zar ignoring. Here's the front of the trailer. OK. No doorstep. The door is not installed. And Tessie is about to crawl out the window....

Hey! It's better than yesterday. I am beginning to see the light at the end of the trailer....Er I mean tunnel.

See you tomorrow.

That is looking great! Of course Tessie and Zar are into it again. Zar must have nerves of steel! I love all that you have put into this scene.

I've enjoyed watching you put this project together. I will be a bit sad to see it finished but I'm looking forward to seeing what comes next. Your 'weed' vines look very nice.

I love the progress, Casey! It is developing into a very attractive complex. Zar must be mighty proud of his new residence. I'm envious. Makes me want to live there myself!
